Improve your English skills!

There are plenty of ways to go about improving your English, if that’s something you feel you need to do. First of all, there’s a great app called Duolingo. This app will take you at your own pace through learning the language. You can use the premium version, or the free one. We recommend going for the free because its great.

Also, you can reach out through our Buddy System. All our mentors are aware that language barriers can be problematic for some international students, and are dedicated to helping you through conversation and friendship. And many of our mentors would be delighted if you could teach them about your language and culture too!

There are also some great institutes that offer free classes to train their teachers, such as SWAN English Language Training and the BBC. Again, signing up to our newsletter will aid your awareness of various resources such as these, as we release a list of great learning websites each month.
